Sunday Post

The charm, one might say the genius, of memory is that it is choosy, chancy, and temperamental:  It rejects the edifying cathedral and indelibly photographs the small boy outside, chewing a hunk of melon in the dust.

What a lovely collage of patterns and colors!

Yes....memory....just saw "Still Alice" last night.

Well, this is one photo I can't forget, short of Alzheimers.

Funny thing, that photo was sorta forgotten until I stopped and looked closer and was quite amazed at what the camera caught, an off-hand shot, hardly planned, one small moment and then, looking closer, the way the brindle and rug pattern worked to make something quite byzantine and magical.
